Join the Tempe Chamber Military Affairs Committee for the 8th Annual Military Affairs Committee Red, White, and Blue Awards ceremony, "A Tribute to Everyday Heroes," on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Embassy Suites Hotel.

This year's ceremony will honor our exceptional military service members and ASU ROTC students with awards and scholarships. 


Awards will include: 

Copper 5 Awards

"The Major Truman Young Award"

"The TSgt Donald Plugh Award"

Red, White & Blue Awards

"The Stephen Trip Grace Memorial Award" 

Navy Operational Support "BUC Joel E. Baldwin Memorial Award" 

944th Fighter Wing "Graydon Williams Award" 

Kyle Brayer Veteran in Public Safety Award

"The Veteran and Military-Friendly Business Award" 

Scholarships include: 

The Tempe Chamber MAC Merle Fister Veteran Scholarship 

ASU ROTC Scholarship - Army 

ASU ROTC Scholarship - Navy 

ASU ROTC Scholarship - Air Force 


The 2026 Merle Fister Veteran Scholarship application will open in December 2025.
