The 2026 National Summit on Artificial Intelligence will take place October 14–16, 2026, at Chandler-Gilbert Community College in Chandler, Arizona, bringing together more than 200 educators, industry leaders, public sector partners, and innovators to explore how AI is shaping the future of education and the workforce.
This national convening is a joint initiative of the National Applied AI Consortium, led by Maricopa Community Colleges, Houston Community College, and Miami Dade College. Together, these institutions are advancing collaboration between higher education, industry, and public partners to accelerate practical AI adoption and strengthen workforce readiness.
Guided by the theme “Applied AI: Empowering Learning Communities and Workforce,” the summit will feature three tracks—Faculty & Student, Industry, and Government—highlighting best practices in AI education, real-world applications, and workforce development strategies.
Attendees will hear from industry leaders driving AI transformation, educators sharing innovative teaching approaches, and government partners supporting AI policy and workforce initiatives, with hands-on sessions and networking opportunities that foster collaboration across sectors.
